Well today I picked up my son Matt and made him help me out

We got the center console apart following the directions that someone posted and that I put into the library....yeah for people who know what they are talking about

I was able to put a little silver button on the side of the shift stick channel and voila, I was able to shift out of park! and.....I was able to drive...well, I just drove it up the driveway so it was a little straighter.

I guess I will determine if that silver solenoid is getting power or not tomorrow.

Thanks for everyone who contributed information

(and those who still may because I can't figure out the name of the part to replace...hahaha)
