Turned into a restaurant in the late 1930's.Wayne State Agricultural Program after WWII and a working Farm and Museum from 1974 - 1984. We went on a tour of the 3200 sq foot home seeing all three floors and the underground tunnels for hiding the slaves. This home is currently being restored back to its original state and was wonderful to see.

While we were on the tour of the Octagon House. My daughter and I signed up to help out with up-coming events. We will be decorating the house for Chirstmas on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 13th. We are both looking forward to it. We will be making Victorian crafts for the house also. I have a very strong background with this as I have been researching old homes for some time now. My house is also decorated with the Victorian Theme at Christmas time.
