Don't think this has been mentioned. From an old post by SSR290. On the back of the wheel cover there is a valve stem symbol that is meant to point at the valve stem on cap replacement in order to fit correctly.
My rear caps are off and I confirmed this. Mark your caps noting the wheel it came from. The "ribs" on the caps will only align properly in certain ways but there is more than one way to insert them where the ribs do align yet the stem symbol does not align with the stem.
