It looks like a "transistor" or bottle cap looking thing, small, hung out in the middle of nowhere, behind the glove box, going to the center of the dash. Should have it's own clip to snap into, but not necessarily. (looks like a mini-turn signal flasher, maybe?) '70's diagrams may not show them accurately.
Is that the one, John?
