If you'd like to take a nice ride one suggestion would be to go and see some Key Deer. They are a subspecies of the Virginia White-tailed deer but stand only a bit over 2 1/2 foot tall and range from 45-75 lbs. Head down to Big Pine Key and if you drive slowly through the neighborhoods or the Key Deer refuge you are likely to see one. The first time I did I thought it was a statuary in someone's yard. It's amazing how tiny they are.
