When I had my '67 Nova, I'd cash my paychecks at Sontags Speed Shop in Crest Hill on a weekly basis. Those were street-racing days and it was a quest for RPM's with no limitations. That was 39 years ago, I get a thrill out of my SSR just the way she is and enjoy the 6-speed and 20+ MPG I get when I go for an afternoon cruise. My Nova would pass everything but a gas station. I'm addicted to golf and don't have time to be tearing apart a vehicle with 3270 on the odometer. I also don't need to start street racing again because the wife might drop the hammer on me!!
