That was their biggest market for a long time and it sure made a huge difference on a Motor Home. I think this is where they learned about all the improvements required to make these little overdrives so durable. This overdrive section was produced by Laycock and used by Triumph, Jaguar, Volvo and others, even the AMC Pacer. Gear Vendors has taken this to the next level with integrated computer controls and higher strength components.
