Thanks Judy
Here are some things you may not think of as the event leader over the years these are things I have to think of...............
Friday is technically the only day to be able to do a picnic/BBQ/banquet (group meet) as you all well know that Saturday is impossible

The cost of the lot is not cheap so I am not planning anything for Saturday other then spending the day on the lot. We will have the traditional hot dogs and passing dishes...etc at last year. I will be staying on the lot till the end and why not we pay for that parking lot till the end. Most go off and eat where ever they want (and leave the lot at various times) so going through the hassle of getting a restaurant to accommodate us only to have half show is not worth it nor fair for the restaurant that tries to accommodate us.

I did notice that last year right on our lot corner was a vendor I think it was a well known steak restaurant. So I think I'm going to stay and enjoy the show till the end.
Now if the majority would rather do a lake cruise on Friday that will be fine with me (Bob and Ann can plan the event for Friday) that's one less day I have too

I would rather have you all enjoy yourselves and your R's for the WDC.....remember this..... it is not easy to cruise Woodward on Saturday (unless you go out in the early AM). Friday is better for a not-stuck in bumper to bumper cruise
I've been working with an event planner at the Zoo for three weeks...they offer a great BBQ All you can eat addtional cost would be parking and zoo enrty fee. A cruise on Woodward then to the Zoo (located on Woodward) I thought would be nice but can be scrapped if needed.
In order to enjoy Woodward it does take the two days on Woodward to do so

1st timers need the experience even though many of us are year to year returnees
