Winning bidder was d hobson - did you buy another one, Don????
One question on the description. Aside from light hail damage, if they just spent $1000 to get things fixed, shouldn't they have fixed the turn signals as well??

The lower the prices, the more of them I can buy!
If someone is not planning on selling their SSR, why would you want high prices? Low price means less taxes (for those who have to pay yearly based on value), lower insurance, lower prices for damaged or missing parts....etc., etc.

Personally... I'm not concerned too much about what they sell for over the next couple years. It goes without saying that ones in "non-collector" condition are going to drop in price for a while. Like the stock market, I'm in it for the long haul. I'll be concerned in 20 years if they're selling for less than $100K!

No, I am not pleased. I have an '04 and might let it go for $26K. I hate to see them sell for that kind of money. But the guy that wants a ticket to the party might be able to afford one at $20K with that being his upper limit. I probably won't ever sell my '04. It has been relatively trouble free and a ton of fun. If I decide to get rid of one it will probably be the '05 six speed. The auto is so much more fun in parades and I do a lot of them!
DONT WORRY THE TRUCK THAT YOU ARE ALL TALKING ABOUT IS DAMAGED IN THE FRONT AND HAS LOTS OF MILES AND THE CONDITION IS WHAT IT IS SELLING FOR . READ THE AUCTION CAREFULLY. WHEELS DAMAGED FRONT END SMASHED AND SO ON!!! DONT LISTEN TO ALL THE NONSENSE ON THIS SITE!!!! ESPECIALLYY THE WAY IT WAS PUT ON THE SITE HERE!! IT IS WORTH WHAT SOMEONE IS WILLING TO PAY FOR A TRUCK IN THAT CONDITION!! SO WHOS CARES WHAT THE REST THINK !!
You hit the nail on the head. I am a lurker waiting for that 04 UV with trailer hitch for $20,000, because as a newly divorced high school teacher in Florida that's all I can afford to get into the club. I am even considering buying a condo instead of a townhouse to have cash for the SSR, but then I won't have a garage to park it in.
I'd rather buy it here because there are no dealers and the honesty factor is way up over ebay, autotrader or cars.com.

You don't have to worry about the UV coming with a trailer hitch. ALL SSRs come with everything needed to tow except the slide in hitch, which can be bought from members here who don't need it or from Bosal - Windscreens and Tow Hitches (OE)
