I'm considering trading the SSR for a vette but thought I'd offer a post here before I did anything. It's got all the goodies, 1SB package, 6sp,chrome wheels, carpeted bed, guage pack, running boards etc, 4,100 mi.. I have all the books tags and anything it came with in mint condition . Also have the cargo net, never installed in plastic bag, and hard saddle bags that are installed. I bought a trailer hitch as the dealer I bought the truck from couldn't find mine but don't have the key for it. The only mod is addco sway bars and will include the original bars to new owner. It will also come with a SSR neon. The truck is perfect. I have cars that won national show titles and I am very picky and keep my cars detailed like showroom. I'm looking to use it as partial trade for C6, must be 6spd, or maybe sell outright. Hope this post is within the guidlines of the forum. I'd rather trade, but if someone comes up with 30K I'd most likely take it. Almost forgot, I bought an extended GM protection plan that began last Oct. and goes for 60 mos or 40,000 mi. which we can be negotiate.
Wow... I think you have a good offer... I wish I was in the market to buy another Blur.... I'm sure you'll get good interest. Too bad to see you leaving for a vette... but at least that is a good alternative! :-)
I'm actually a little bummed about it. When i bought the Blur, my intent was to add a little pep through tuning and maybe even a blower. I cannot find anyone in this town, (Buffalo,NY area) who knows anything about it. I called a few tuning shops and they said they didn't want to take my money cause the factory tune was better than anything they could do. I'm sure they can bolt a blower in but if that's the attitude will I get it done right? I have my doubts and don't want to play games.
My SSR: Black, '03, 1sb, #1256, License Plate was WOW FCTR

People have posted in here how they have gotten a "remote" tune, ie sent out their PCM to be tuned, and have gotten great results.
If you were serious about a blower, PM 2005SSR6Speed and see if he can help you find an installer. He will also answer all your questions too!

Don't get too discouraged...it's just that time of year. Your price is very reasonable, vehicles are bought and sold on this site all the time regardless of location (a buyer in New Hampshire purchased mine in Utah). Recommend you post some pics and the VIN#, you might have better luck!
Thanks all for the words of encouragment and suggestions. Whats the worst thing that can happen, I buy a vette as a daily driver and keep the SSR and enjoy the forum community..not so bad.
Oh, it also has one of those grey all weather covers with the logo that one of the other members sells also.
If your SSR was Pacific Blue or slingshot I might be planning a trip to new york but the BLUR is not up my alley. Thanks and GOOD LUCK slfwilrr
You have to go with what you like man. I was a car dealer and had my choice, first time I saw the Blurr color in the sunlight I knew that was what I wanted.

Greetings,
You may want to run a new thread. This one became a bit confusing. I thought you had sold it given the dialog. I will be looking for a 6 speed silver/blue/blur/black later this spring.
Just an idea.

We have a dealer in Thoms River New Jersey, Tune Time performance the owners name is Matt. They currently have a special right now, they will do a free install with the retail purchase. He is also capable of doing a custom tune and has a Mustang Dyno. For a couple of extra bucks you can get a before and after dyno numbers. Joe Delano says they are a very detailed shop and would be worth the drive if this is what your turely looking for. Feel free to give us a call anytime.

I'm with you, Bob . . . BLUR IS A FANTASTIC COLOR, especially in the direct sun.
When I was shopping it was a toss up between a Slingshot Yellow and an Aqua Blur but the Blur was a 6 Speed.
"SHIFTLESS" is my middle name so jumped on the Slingshot.
