Just saw an 06 6 Spd Auqa Blur on the lot of Gordon Chevrolet in Orange Park FL. Their web site states it only has 2995 miles. The web site is: Gordon Chevrolet Orange Park | Orange Park | Jacksonville | Green Cove Springs | St. Augustine | FL
The VIN # is 1GCES14H66B121568. I have not stopped to look at up close but will try and stop by tomorrow.

This one is very interesting.

It was ordered with VXM body colored package - color matched running boards and auxiliary gauges..

Very unsual combination. Color matched running boards were part of the chrome package, which included chromed auxiliary gauges.

VXM doesn't exist on the 2006 MY Production History.

It is listed as an option in the 2006 brochure, available only on 3SS.

Wonder how many 2006 SSRs were ordered with color keyed running boards and auxiliary gauges, but not the chrome package? They would be the only ones out there with color keyed auxiliary gauges.

Could this be one of a kind?

Same here. Have an 06 Redline with red boards and gauges.... chrome wheels but not chrome package.
It is a US truck by the way. Bought it out of Texas a couple of years ago.

I think this is the same one that a guy on the river over here in FI was trying to sell. Mileage, color, etc. matches to his Autotrader ad anyway. He was asking $35,500 a month or so ago.

I knew the package was out there because of the brochure listing. There are no stats on the production information to indicate how many were built with it, because VXM isn't listed. Definitely there on the build sheet Byers just posted.

Good eye! Ford should always be seen at the back of the Chevy. Sometimes Fords and Mercury break down so much (fix or repair daily) that very good money is made fixin those machines....

FYI: I have spoken with this dealer. The SSR was a "GM Show vehicle" and then sold according to the dealer. It appears as though some of the factory items may not be with the vehicle (tow hook, cargo net, soft saddle bags). They are in the process of researching the items.

I haven't seen it in person and awaiting the full scoop... I'm in central FL and a bit of a haul to "check it out".

You got to love it... the dealer sold the SSR right out from under me while they were confirming the location of missing items (tow hitch, saddle bags, etc). I was awaiting their call to make the 130 mile ride to pick it up on Saturday morning.
I would have given them the deposit IF they confirmed the options were included or they replaced them. As we all know, those items cost $$$$ to find and replace to factory.

There are many more to be found...

I would never buy a stick of gum from Gordon after this. Sorry for the rant...
