Just a warning on this car - the owner states it is a Final Production Run and it has an FPR waterfall badge, but with the VIN of 23262 it can't be a true FPR car.

The business seems low buck and only a few low priced vehicles/boats sold. Also with a negative feedback already. This truck seems to be a big ticket item for this business.... eBay Feedback Profile for cliff.findlay
The business is located in AZ and maybe someone can visit and educate the folks there... Seems the perfect spot for a renegade badge with vin number being close and one of the hot colors.
My SSR: 2006 Pacific Blue 3 Pedals, Chrome Pkg, Bernie's nerf bars & spare tire
The problem now is if he is lying about the FPR then what about the engine.
Unless I knew who built the engine and saw all the reciepts with the VIN on them I would be sceptical.
The seller only has 6 feedbacks and one of them is a negative.
I think I'll pass on this one.

Has anyone seen the warranty claims on this vehicle?
I am getting the impression its not been treated very well.

R6P is for Premium Paint which it has
R6K is SSR FINAL PRODUCTION UNIT
This vehicle does not have the R6K option or anything on its build sheet stating it is an FPR

The add states that it is the owners SSR.
Did he use his Chevy dealership to replace (modify) the SSR using the GM Warranty program?
I would still be concerned about his claims.
This is one of the reasons we all joined the SSR Fanatic web site.
To protect the innocent.

I thought you might. I agree, you'd have to see the build sheets and receipts, and I still wouldn't trust them.

Here is some further feedback I received this AM ...
Marc,
According to the information I have, the lowest FPR VIN ends in 2387.
Maybe Ann would have some further insight. But I recall not getting final direction on the final badges until some time in January of 2006, so doesn't seem right to me.

Question him on ebay
If it hasnt already been done, someone with more savy than me, should log into ebay and "Ask Seller a Question" as to why he is stating that this is a "Final Production" unit when it clearly is not. That way the question and his answer will be shown at the bottom of the auction, therby hopefully alerting those browsing the auction who are not privy to the wealth of information on this site.
"Special Waterfall Badge Indentifying This Vehicle as Being
Produced During The Final Production Run in 2006"
1st VIN 1GCES14H86B123287, Last 24112.
I forgot the #'s, I had to look them up.

Seems pretty straight forward to me: Maui Mike posted the first VIN of the FPR run directly from Chevy's 2006 Production Stats (Click Here -->http://www.ssrfanatic.com/forum/atta...sr_history.pdf) as posted elsewhere on this site. #23262 comes before #23287. Therefore, the blue truck in question is not a FPR vehicle.
Mcvette2 is in Kingman, maybe if he is so inclined, he could take ride down to Findlay and find out what kind of scam they are running there.
I did early this morning. Said the SSR forum is discussing your truck and could you provide some proof that it is in fact a FPR and can they explain all the repair work on it to date. No email back yet.

Asked him that question yesterday - not sure that info shows up on the Q & A section of EBay.

They have corrected it. Sent me an email stating that and when I checked their auction, they have it in BIG letters..IT IS NOT A FPR!..lol But as we had expected, he had bought the badge and stuck on it there and admits it. Hope we catch all the heathens that try this...grrrrr

Also got an email back. Asked him if he'd sell me the badge after he removed it. I could use it for a show sign.
