Maybe not, but the result is the same, whether it was your badge sale, SSR6spd's badge sale, or just someone able to pick one up from a dealer who didn't follow GM's guidelines. You can cry foul, claim you're providing a service, whatever, but you're helping perpetuate a problem.
No matter how you slice it, it still looks like this was an attempt at fraud. This is at least the second time someone attempted to pass off a truck as a FPR, and it will likely happen again. It wouldn't happen if GM had been able to keep a handle on resale of these badges. I believe the execs at GM are lookig into how these badges got into the hands of resellers.
The unfortunate thing is that someone who isn't on this website, getting some knowledge about SSRs or puts blind trust into the seller, is going to get burned.
I never received a reply to my offer to purchase one of the badges. PM me with a price if you don't want to reveal it here.

Therefore, the blue truck in question is not a FPR vehicle.
Mcvette2 is in Kingman, maybe if he is so inclined, he could take ride down to Findlay and find out what kind of scam they are running there.
I live less than 1000 ft from Cliff Findlay Auto Center, and the best thing I can say about Hank Nolte the owner of the dealer ship and the Blue 06 SSR forsale is- STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRUCK & his dealer ship. Anything he has to say about it is . This is one of worst Chevy & GM dealers in the US. I could sit here for hours telling true horror stories about this dealership. I have been thru two lawsuits against them and won both. I hope a FANATIC does not bid on his SSR they will be

You confirmed my fears.
I won't be bidding on this one.
I have to say again it is the buyers of these badges that perpetuate a problem. You will always have the "scalpers" but it's the actions of a person such as this owner of the pacblue SSR that makes the problem. And we busted his ass...so he essentionally threw that money away. Stop the demand and they go away to something else.
I wouldm't buy one damn thing from these sellers and he is playing you.

Would be interesting to have a Fanatic in the area drop by (without his SSR) to see if they have removed the badge after gaining this wealth of knowledge, or whether they play dumb and keep trying to flog it.

That has been done, that was one of the Lawsuits I talked about. And the DMV in Kingman is just as bad, people have gone to jail over trying to screw people. The DMV in Kingman over charged me $482 on my SSR for plates back in 03 ( got the money back from state DMV in Phoenix). The dealership has lost their Lic to sell, all they do is change the dealership name and get a new one.

That's just down right
