06 Pacific Blue Automatic in SMO

Was driving down the street today... and out of the corner of my eye... a Pacific Blue 06 was at the local Mercedes dealership. Spoke to John H about the truck and gave it a quick look over... Its priced at 31,999... On a quick look over... original fan, hard saddle bags, carpet & wood strips, chrome package, after market exhaust tips, 3 cluster gages... a little curb rash on the wheels... a scratch on the top of the tailgate.. but otherwise... look kinda clean on a quick look...didn't have a lot of time to look at it.. don't know about the price but.... PM me if you want contact info..

It has chrome wheels but not the chrome package.
Does it have a Corsa exhaust? I have seen those tips before.

It says that it has the chrome package! What do you think is a good price? Maybe $28.5?

That sounds about right. The grille bar and door handle in the pictures do not look chrome to me.
I have had mine on here and in autotrader for months.
I have only had one looker from autotrader with a low offer so far.
He ended up buying an aqua blur 6 speed through a broker at auction for $28,000.
The right person will eventually come along.

I agree, it looks like the handles are satin, another dealer may not know what they are selling. Either that or the picture doesn't show it well. Their website doesn't show any cars other than MB so can't see more pictures.

My understanding was the chrome option in 2006 was the wheels and some interior trim not the the handles and nose.. correct me if I'm wrong. The price was reduced to $31,999... not sure if that's a good price or not..

NO! No!

[QUOTE=OP;674032]concerning the chrome...Don needs to clean his glasses...[/QUOTE

I didn't say that it had the chrome package; I said the "the description" said that it had the chrome package.

"original fan, hard saddle bags, carpet & wood strips, CHROME PACKAGE, after market exhaust tips, 3 cluster gages... a little"

I thought that the chrome package was the entire package for all years it was offered. Then again I am not sure either, lol. I thought that that all handles and other satin trim were supposed to be chrome. Anyone can buy a few chrome parts and call it a "package", I guess the only way would be to get the VIN and have someone run the delivery sheet on it to see what exactly it was made with.

The chrome package included the grille bar, hood emblem, fog light bezels, door handles, SS on tailgate and all the interior trim.
Chrome wheels were a seperate option and not part of the chrome package.

Charlie is correct. I have an 06 with the Chrome Package and Chrome wheels. They are two separate options.

I have an 05 and an 06 with the chrome package from the factory.

That should confuse the issue.
