It's better looking in person.

This is a good price $39.900 for a rare SSR.

Me too, it's gorgeous but I still want Mason's... it's a 6 speed. I didn't realize there were only 5 of this combo.

If it had the chrome package = Maybe
If it had the chrome and was an FPR = I would be on my way to pick it up.

I want the next one to be an automatic.

Yes... you're right! there is another in the background!

Also Doug... I live about 1.5 hours from this dealer and I might be able to slip down and look at it if you don't get another member to chime in.

The dealer is firm at $39,995--he knows what he has...talked to him last week about the truck. It's missing the factory windbreak, saddle bags and cargo net package. No window sticker but all manuals are with it.

Nice looking truck. Here's the dealer's web site listing Rico/Aqua Blur...

I would have bought it. Even if it was not an FPR car and did not have the chrome package, it's # 1 of 5 - I'd say whoever bought it has themselves a great collectible for a great price.

After he got his 3,000 post, he thought he better cut back on the computer time and do more work...
which is picking up the phone and making SSR related calls.

The silver/aqua combination was available through the 2006 model year.

I twisted in the wind for about a week trying to decide if I should order silver on black, silver on Pac blue, or silver on aqua blur.

Based on number of units built, I should have gone with the pac blue or aqua blur - but I really liked the silver on black. The decision was swayed by comments by Boyd Coddington and Chip Foose on their TV shows. Something about silver on black accenting the curved lines on vehicles they were building, and using the black on the bottom lowering the profile.

Flassh ... you must have been buying state side. Only black over silver or the upside down paint job, silver over black was available here.

Not far at all because I would be there with a briefcase full of cash.

I wonder if it was Classic Chevrolet that bought both of them?
We will have to ask Mike Byers about it.
