Will someone please explain to me how you can sell a truck with a sticker price of $47,000 for $27,000 Who is eating that $20,000 I know all about the invoice ,cash back, red tags, loyalty discounts, frequent flyer miles "woops" and that sort of stuff, but I just can't see where the 20 big ones are going. If GM is taking the hit (which I doubt) I'm sure they will be sending REBATE checks out to those of us who did not receive the $20,000 discount at the time of purchase! ! !

Where are they selling for 20,000????????? Please share this information with me.
Bill,
Please don't get me wrong and I was not referring to you at all, but I honestly do not know how anybody can discount these or any other vehicle by $20,000 which is approaching 50% I believe what I am seeing I just simply can't understand who's taking the hit on these trucks.
PS: One side question, here goes I've seen pictures of the new body style Yukons do you know if the 07 Silverado will follow suit ? ?
Look At It This Way This Is How It Works With Me I Take A Dealer That Has A 2004 Ssr The Company I Work With Has Found A Dealer That Has An 04 Ssr He Gives To The Locate Company To Move His Ssr At Invoice Less The Year End Money . .approx 34k But To Move It He Has 2 Corvettes With Allocation He Gives At Invoice Also The Locate Company Sells The 2 Vettes To A Dealer At Invoice Plus 5k Each Then I Buy The Ssr For The 34k Less The 5k Less The Other 5k Thus Making It 24k . ...general Math
No Dealer Loses Its Just Creative Math The Dealers Just Give Up Profits But With Me They Dont Lose Money Its Just One Simple Formula Its A Bit More Complicated But You Can Get The Basics
2007 SILVERADO I DONT KNOW AS FAR AS BODY STYLE YET I KNOW THE 2006 TAHOES ARE DONE AND 07'S SHOULD BE HERE IN JAN OR SO
BILL,
Thank you very much, now it all adds up when average in the hot sellers. I'm quite sure most dealers would rather get out from under their older SSRs rather than sit on them and have their birthday partys on the showroom floor.
They Give Up Profits On The Hotter Seller By Trading It Off Then The Other Dealer That Buys It Pays More For Hot Seller Better To Own It For More Than Not Have It
Then . ..all That Extra Money Comes To Me ....so I Can Sell At Market Pricing
Lesstanford Another Supporting Dealer On Here Has Alot Of The Ssr's Instead Of Selling Off The Hot Inventory He Bought More Corvettes And Is Now Selling Off The Ssr's

Bill,
If he has so many SSR's for sale, how come he never answers his e-mails. Sent him two recently and never a reply. Just wondering if he is collecting them for a grand birthday party !!

I would like to know if this $27,000 deal that is being kicked around is for a straight purchase only or can a trade in be negotiated like a normal deal??? Secondly, where can these SSR's be found??? Oh yeah, what year model would these $27,000 units be???
I did, and then click on his name, then click on RESEARCH NEW MODELS, then the SSR, then ask for quote. If prices are too high, leave the site. If prices seem OK, click on CONTACT US and start a dialog with them. Hope this helps.
This thread was started in an effort to learn about $20K off MSRP SSR's and it was explained quite well how they can occur but when someone asked where they are, there have been no answers. I appreciate the happy Stanford customer and others but could this thread get back on topic, please? Are there any $20K off vehicles available out there? I am getting close to 401k money availability and have a pending deal on another type of truck but need to hear about SSR's more before I finalize. thnx all! VERY helpful forum with a minimum amount of the childish crap I see on other forums.
...and you can give current examples, right? WHO is offering an "older" but new for $20K off??????????? WHO is offering a new '05 6 speed for $15K off??????????
