Did you just comment on pricing without commenting on pricing.
Maybe that is what makes it "one of a kind."[/QUOTE]
Just throwing out a hint that we should all sit back and let the marketplace decide if the pricing is right.
David, you should also indicate if it has the carpeted trunk and hard saddlebags. Both add significantly to value, especially to a truck with chrome wheels, running boards and aux gauges.

Mine listed at 78k loaded. bought in 2004.
tryed to trade it in so I could ordering a 06. and was only offered 17k by dealer...It only had 1600 miles on it at the time.
I hope the street value has run up to your ashing price, but this crowd here knows SSR'S well. Everyone wants 05/06 or something special like pace or parade truck. I suggest the best buck will come from someone that is out of the loop.

Rebel, "I hope the street value has run up to your ashing price, but this crowd here knows SSR'S well. Everyone wants 05/06 or something special like pace or parade truck. I suggest the best buck will come from someone that is out of the loop." Great honest advise.
My SSR: 04 "Smokin' Ricochet" #10577 Stainless bling under the hood , MPD F/R Spoiler, MTI Dyno Tune
$25,500 to $27g's with these miles, but no carpeted rear compartment will hurt even that price, I think.
We need to see the build sheet to see things like chrome wheels, etc.
VERY hard info to swollow if it were me, but "it is, what it is"!
And outside the Fanatic family is most certainly where he might see the number he is trying for, but not here, as Rebel says.

Really, it is difficult for those "outside the loop" to know the "real world" prices of the trucks. Most who come here wanting to sell are not "up" on what the trucks are selling for; hence, their prices reflect what they paid for the thing when new. It looks to them like they are offering someone a good deal considering what they paid for them. Alas, the truth hurts. That is why 9 out of 10 listed on ebay do not reach the reserve. Guess we better enjoy the little boogers. That or take the beating of our lives in disposing of them. You just hate to hurt the newbie's feelings and tell the honest truth. However, I think the truth finally dawns on them.
Dave hang in there ... It's guys like you who can wait for that one big fish that will help drive the price back up someday. We are not here to put you down just show you what your fighting with. Hell we all want the value up in the 50's 60's. Again your going to sell it where people have not been following the final sales as close as we have.
Let us know when she sells, we are all pulling for big numbers for you.
Many people bought these trucks as a collector to make money I think. This has proven to be a bad move so far. Looks like it’s going to be at least a twenty year trip.
Next question 400 miles how much fun have you had with her? Drive it get something out of it man.
