From what I've seen, $30 to $31K is about normal for a base model with the 1SB package. Add $1500. for chrome wheels & ~$850. for the cargo trim pkg. & you're up to about $33 to $34K. I just paid $34K for my loaded yellow '04' cause I couldn't find another one anywhere close with all the options.
well the thing with SSR's is there is no liquidity in the market a used one and a new one are practically the same price now find a guy that looked at them a year ago . . .you might be able to get good money for one generous . ..yes i probably am being because if someone wanted to trade me a used one i dont think i'd want it just because i talk with people that wont buy them with 50 miles let alone . .. .2,3, 5 , 10 thousand if i owned one as an individual i woul dprob end up waiting six months to sell it i think the market will restablize
I've been reading your threads. You've got to be kidding. Why would any one want to buy anything from a guy who can't spell, punctuate, or use proper english. You don't even try to take the time to proof read your threads. It doesn't speak very well for your business sense or your attention to detail. People judge all of us by what we put out to the public. And, I am afraid you come up short.

Joe,
Don't you think that is a little harsh? Who say's in order to sell cars you have to spell and punctuate correctly, or use proper english. I feel William is just trying to help the folks on this site from a dealers perspective. Anybody feel differently?
I really didn't mean to be harsh but man, I am tired of reading this guys threads and having to translate them in order to try to understand them. Maybe I was a little critical and perhaps I might not understand the problems he may or may not have.
Freelance rambling is what my postings are my apologies. I did not realize that i was sitting in a coffee shop discussing Hemmingway. I write in the same style I would be speaking if you was sitting in front of me; or sitting at the local pub having a beer with me. Unfortunately I do realize that you can't see the change in tones of my voice as I type. But I still will continue to ramble on forums and reply as quickly and efficiently as possible. It is the style I choose. I am not a college grad. Or a business owner; although fairly intelligent, still just a good ole country boy from here in the Midwest, it’s just me. And I have been criticized on this site many times on grammar and punctuations. I am acceptable of the fact I feel that most people can understand what I’m saying and feel more comfortable talking to me knowing that I’m a working man much like their selves or the way they was before they became as successful as they are now. I’m here 80 hours a week, respond to over 100 emails a day, spend a minimum of 4 hours a day on the phone as I’m editing eBay listings and taking care of deliveries of my customers many from this site on a daily basis. What would be great is if we could get them to put spell check on this site for me so I don’t have to cut and paste this from Microsoft outlook. Well everyone have a great night talk to you in the morning.

I think the thread starter selling his 04 Black SSR should start another thread because this one has been HIGHJACKED!
Okay you guys back off William at Reliable just a bit, WE all know salesmen are hated more than attorneys and i fall into that catagory of not liking salesmen and dealerships very much at all after my attempts of buying an SSR.
I'm sure Mr. Mork works very hard at what he does finding/selling and then the delivery of his sold vehicles. I once sold cars at a Chevy dealer here in Dallas (same name Reliable Chevy but in Richardson,Tx) and i lasted about a year.. couldnt take the LONG hours.. but i know selling cars/trucks is very hard frustrating work at times, other times the slow months seem just as hard with not alot of traffic.
Lets feel a little bit of love in this room... LOL.. take care.. Tony

Well the Solstice got traded for this YELLOW BEAST on July 5, 2006... Early birthday gift to myself
Well, I joined a little late on this thread, but I just had to throw in my agreement with Sarasota Joe. Since Islanddreams is a dealer, I want to see his insight on the SSR market and what he sees in trends or what buyers want. But I have a lot of trouble reading his posts and understanding what he's trying to say. Everyone knows the lack of punctuation or a comma in the wrong place can completely change the meaning of a sentence:
The bear shot, the man turned and left.
The bear shot the man, turned and left.
Big difference in the outcome.
Since Mr. Mork is a dealer, I think it would be to his advantage, and his credibility, to make sure his posts are articulate and readable. I'm no English teacher, but I can ramble on a post, too, and make it understandable to readers.
Actually, I don't care if he can spell correctly or punc u ate et al. In the phone comms we had and emails he shot me, the one thang that Bil was able to do was get mee da price I wanted on th o4. Of course after cruzin an 05, I want won of those now and I now hes gonna find me that smokin assphalt 6 speeed loaded for around 42K. Aint that right Bil

Well put Steve. I'm with you. All I care about is what price is on the sales agreement.
