Any ideas on selling SSR'S for a decent price. Been trying to sell mine for a year & half, no calls. Chevrolet dealers not interested in them, it has 4500 miles on it and bought it new. thanks

Do you have a number in mine that you are looking for? How is your SSR equiped? Where are you located? And do you have pictures? You can post it here on this site under SSR for Sale. To post it does not cost anything and everyone that visits this site are interested in SSRs. Just my comments.

Well, they are selling but you have to be realistic on price to move it quickly. I see you mention trying to sell it since 2007 on this site. You posted some price info on these dates:
March of 2011 you wanted $29900, on
August 2010 you turned down $28500 from the dealer, and on
Oct 2009 you wanted $34000 .

You're obviously trying to get the most you can out of it and VERY high on the value chart, it's not bad to be that way but you have to be willing to wait it out for the right buyer.

Yes, it is a low mile truck but realistically I think you are in the 05-06 price range, the 03-04 rarely bring that type of money. I'm pretty sure that this is yours on EBAY@ $32000 with 4500 miles.

If you look at EBay historical info you'll see that these trucks rarely sell on there and if they do it's for a low price. Here's a very good example, there was a yellow 2004 SSR with 5590 miles listed a few days ago, bidding only reached $22,500, nowhere near what you are seeking.

Best bet is to list it on Autotrader with their most expensive listing, put a bunch of really nice pictures with it and sit and wait for the right buyer. I wish you good luck, I have sold 2 SSR's, one from an ad someone saw on the Corvette forum and one on EBay. If you're firm you need to get the word out there but EBay isn't the right place.

March 2011 I offered 28,000..00 for my black at a dealer in Idaho when his adking price was 29,900.00.. It had 690 miles with extra wheels and allthe trimmings...I probably paid alittle much but happy with the ssr....i WILL ALWAYS HAVE ONE...WOULD LIKE ANOTHER HOPE THIS CAN HELP..DREAMASPHALT

That's good, just very odd to see 2 yellow SSR's in PA with almost the same mileage for nearly the same asking price.

Try Autotrader, I think it will work good for you. Make up your own thread in the For Sale section and bump it up every month or so to get eyes on it here too.

Bought a red '04 with 6k miles for $23k about three years ago. Today a low miles '04 would need to be under $20k to catch my eye. Sounds like you might be in the "at that price I'll keep it" zone. So you get to enjoy it for more years sounds like a win win.

I find that a lot of people in general like to state that they have a "LOADED" vehicle for sale and a lot of the time it really doesn't have all options either at time of build or could be purchased aftermarket from GM as an available GM Accessory. According to the Build Sheet posted by Marc your comments to me are some what misleading as stated.

I see that your truck was built before Marc NY's who I understand has the first Aux Gauge Pkg released for production, and you also don't have Chrome wheels which was available very early in the production year of 04. Of course you could have purchased either of those options later on if you had wanted to as well as the windbreak too.

I am not saying you don't have a beautiful SSR here, I am just trying to point out that your comments of being LOADED means different things to different people. To me loaded is a quick way of trying to say it has ALL Options instead of really trying to list all of them out for a buyer to really know for sure. Thus you really need to list all options and accessories you have installed on your SSR this way we will know exactly what is on your SSR.

Just increased price due to what high milage ssr's are listed for, price is $30900.00 for a 4500 mile truck.
