again - i have a 2006 fpr pacific blue 6 speed - 6.0 - headers - cold air induction
beffed up throttle body. i have it for sale - one owner - $38,500 obo. 4,000 miles
actual 4,097 - custon silver stripe in middle of hatch lid - roof and hood.
actualy rare if im correct only 7 made with 1ss and 6 speed made it more rare - with special order wheels and gages.

1SS is rare (6.6% pf production in 2006), only because very few base model SSRs were ordered. Chrome wheels were optional on all SSRs from early 04. Silver painted wheels are standard.
Gauges would have to be factory ordered or added after manufacturing on a 1SS.
6 speed on a pac blue, with FPR and low mileage definitely makes it a low numbers truck.
Just have to find the right buyer.

I am pretty sure 14P chrome wheels were not an option for the base 1SS model. (or the 1SA base models for MY2004 or MY2005). They would have to be a special order as stated. I would be curious to see it but pretty sure the build sheet will read 96P Ultra Silver wheels with the 14P chrome wheels being installed at the dealer.
It appears there is a total of 3 base model 6sp for MY2006 and this is 1/1 1SS 6sp FPR. #23841
There is another base model 6sp FPR but it is a 1SA (Z49 Canadian build). #23845
The only other 1SS 6sp that I see is a non FPR. #22355

I hate it when you're right.
Checked the 06 brochure to make sure, though.
Chrome wheels optional on 2 and 3SS, not available on a 1SS.

1/1 makes it one of kind forever, wow. it reminds me of the base model nova with nothing but motor -hp - 4 speed in 60's. this unit has only AM FM STERIO no cd. very interesting - very rare indeed.
i should take it to barrett jackosn auction to see what it will bring. any comments????
thanks for info

Auctions are a crap shoot.
You need at least two buyers who really like a particular vehicle for it to do well. Not sure this is the right truck for that situation. Will a base model without bed carpet and chrome package, and stripes and modifications that may or may not appeal to a particular buyer, get you the premium selling price you need to overcome the costs?
If you do take the auction route, you may want to consider a Reserve auction, where you have the opportunity to set a minimum selling price. Mecum and Russo & Steele usually give you the opportunity to set a reserve, with a higher commission if it sells.
Barrett Jackson has been No Reserve for years, but has started offering a few Reserve spots on really exotic vehicles that they really want in the auction.
Keep in mind the commissions to be paid if it sells, and the costs of putting it in an auction, whether or not it sells.
I considered going the auction route when I was selling Signature 23, but felt the risks were too high, even on what should have been a fairly desirable, fully documented truck.

Thanks for your input here. I'm not in a hurry to pay for something that did not sell.
