2006 Indy Festival For Sale
This beauty hit the market late yesterday. There weren't any pictures or mention of it being a Festival truck but I recognized the VIN as being Denny's (dens2006SSR) Indy Festival. I gave Denny a bit of an assist when he bought it from North Freeway ayear or so ago so I was really surprised to see it hit the market.
I spoke with Chuck Woody at Crest Cadillac in Birmingham AL this morning and it sounds like he is going to put it at $37,900. He seems like a good guy and might just give a Fanatic a bit of a break. He was quite appreciative to receive some information, learn of the SSRFanatics, and that I intended to place a thread about it on the forum.

#34 2006 Indy Festival
Fully loaded with VYJ chrome package, ERK carpeted cargo, BVF body colour boards, ERN chrome gauges and 14P chrome wheels. She is a beauty!
It's holding value very well. Pretty sure 180 was the one available from Uftring a few years ago.
Back in the good old days, before the meltdown, I was looking at this one when it had about 4000 miles on it - it was in the $36000 range at that time.
I held off, looking at the time for an FPR truck with the same equipment.

No, but mine was likely right behind it on the line. The decals are not done at LCC. I believe these were done by Grafik Concepts, but at IMS. The Indy's are not sequential, but sprinkled randomly.

Gramma kinda grows on you doesn't she. Jeez, I don't know what I would replace it with, and it would surely hurt her feelings....maybe you could send me a picture of your gramma?

Wow! I think this means one of our members passed away. I will try and confirm this tomorrow, but it looks pretty much beyond doubt Crest bought this SSR from the estate as Denny Stradtman lives in Birmingham.

Denny lived a great life and seemed to be a great man of adventure. What an honor it would have been to have met him. Regrets to the Stradtman family.

That is really too bad. I talked to Denny on the phone a couple times and exchanged several emails, but never really got past discussing his SSR. He certainly appears to have lead a full, interesting and exemplary life.
Thanks for looking into this lakecat. I will start a thread on Denny's passing.
