I traded in my 2006 Redline Red Final Production Run 6 speed manual, at Power Chevrolet Arrowhead in Peoria AZ over the weekend. I see they now have it listed for sale on their site. It is $31K, which is $4K more than they gave me for it as a trade. But they knocked $6K off the new crew cab that I bought. So what I REALLY got for the SSR isn't known. Here is their site:
2006 Chevrolet SSR for sale in Peoria, AZ – Power Chevrolet Arrowhead
In case someone is interested, I will let you know a little about it. I was the original owner. The VIN is: 1GCES14H36B123326
The good:
It has the 3ss with heated power seats, red running boards, chrome wheels, red gauge package, auto dimming mirrors, 6 CD stacker, has 20,500 original miles. It spent about half of its life inside my garage, out of the sun and rain. I never had any problems other than the battery was replaced under warranty about two years ago. It has been well taken care of (oil changes, waxed, etc). It is 100% pure stock except for the Stabilissr brackets under the front bumper that gets rid of the fog lights shake. I never tacked it past 6,000 RPM. Frequently tacked to about 4,000 RPM. Rarely above 5,000 RPM. I had a mat in the bed with a spare tire and rim laying in there (not bolted down or secured, just laying in there), as well as a sissor jack and lug wrench. If it isn't there, you could ask that it be included with the sale.
The bad:
I don't know if anything has been corrected or not, but here is how it was when I traded it in. Some of these things might be overlooked by an eager fanatic. One of the fog lights has a cracked lens, but still works. There is a very small ding in the passenger side rear fender. The front driver wheel has a scratch in it. It needs an alignment & the driver front tire is worn unevenly. Very tiny shimmy about 65 MPH (alignment would probably fix this). The bed liner has a small tear in it on the cab wall towards the passenger side. Tiny chip in the windshield on the driver side. There were a couple of times (only after it got wet) that the windshield wipers would turn on without turning the switch to on. And the window slightly up and down when opening the door didn't work right a few times (about twice a year)when it got wet. I wasn't able to reproduce these things at the dealership to have them fixed.
It was a good vehicle, but I needed a back seat. So I traded it in. Anyone that is interested now has knowledge of what to look at when they test drive it. And they have knowledge of what the dealership paid for it. Knowledge is power.
