2006 Redline Red Auto

Well we have been bitten by the new Camaro bug so the SSR needs to go. Vin#1GCES14H26B122104. This 2SS SSR has only been wet 4 times, always garaged, non smoking, 36,5xx miles. It has chrome wheels, chrome pkg, red guage pod, 3 sets of mats, 1 is rubber, Rush filter, Kenwood AM, FM, XM radio (also have stock radio and will install it if wanted) new front tires and battery, carpet mat with red strips in back. This is a nice truck, does have a few road chips on hood (normal). Will send pictures upon request. $28,500. Thanks. If someone from this forum sends a buyer, or purchases my truck I will give them the large vinyl poster of the boy with ice cream lookin at the red SSR.[PM for more info]

Sounds like a very nice well maintained SSR.
I can't find a build sheet for yours but if you wanted to order one on the build sheet thread, I will transfer it into this post for you when it comes up so it is at the top of your thread. Even though very nicely optioned with the VYJ chrome package and the body color gauges you may have a 2SS as indicated in the "Last Of" thread.
The reason it would be designated 2SS rather than 3SS is if it was ordered without the body color boards.
A build sheet would confirm all this.
Very nice SSR!

Thanks Cash, I was reading the window sticker, (early in the morning), and could not read that line very good. With the help of my magnifiying glass I can see it was a 2. I apprecaite you pointing out the error. Edd

Why do you want to give up a convertable for a hardtop? I dont know if you have drove one but the visibility on them are not good because of the rear quarter panels are too wide.If I were you I try to keep both if you can.

Well Lou a couple of years ago I would have both, but the economy dictatates only one. I have had a lot of fun with the SSR, but it is time to let someone else.

Keep the SSR and get the Camaro. You'll be happy to have both! I know I am, the SSR is my toy and the Camaro is the wife's daily driver. I still enjoy the SSR more.

Methinks I'd like to find and buy a 2006, automatic, gauges, 25000 miles, wood strips in bed, black or yellow, running boards, satin wheels and have it ready to pick up when we move.

Nope, not a reason to do so. Go back to sleep Mr. 59 posts.

To make things clear, this is a thread that deals in selling and buying. I am looking to buy. Make sense to you yet??

Mr Upp is right. This thread is about his redline.

You are not looking for a redline. It would be appropriate for you to start your own thread.

I think your reply was unnecessarily rude.

Truthfully, we shouldn't be any form of hijacking or bashing in any of the areas within the "SSR for Sale Sections"!!!

Yes, We went to most of them. At the May, June & July we took both my 05 silver and my wife's 05 Aqua Blur. In August we took her Aqua Blur as my silver is in the shop getting the hail damage repaired.

Auction is running out on ebay today, I really would like to sell this rascal. Make me a serious offer. Tell your friends you know a motivated seller. It is killing me walking by the SSR everyday and not drivin it to keep the miles off it, if you know what I mean.

This is a nicely appointed SSR. It is the 2SS, designated so because it was ordered without boards, and has the body colour gauges instead of the chrome gauge module in the chrome package.
As noted in another current thread the chrome package is valued over $2500 plus the shift module this one has.
