"...Cruise Control, CD Changer, Moon Roof, Garaged, Low Miles..."
I couldn't see it in the pictures, but I'm sure that unique option must be what makes this one worth more than most of us (I hope) paid for brand new SSRs.
My SSR: 2005 Redline Red 6sp (named:Stuart Little)
Souped-up
It has to be modified because it has 425 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER, and that's with an automatic transmission! I am totally green with envy, his '05 is bigger than my '05 K
Remember Fanatics, when we talked about how much these SSR's cost GM to produce, factoring in all R&D,marketing, etc.;some where in the neighborhood of $150,000.00 per copy! We are now just getting over the funeral of our
loving machines and the bad rap they got, primarily,do to the intial greed of the dealers($10K-20K)second stickers, did not only turn off good money buyers, but started a unfair apprasial of our trucks, cause they wern't selling as fast as most GM executives and dealers would have liked, duh,so our wonderful
negative liberal press couldn't wait to start killing the car business as they always seem to do without any consideration for all the vehicles and the people that are trying to make a living by selling these cars & trucks.I spent
35 years in the automobile business, and the company I worked with spent millions of dollars with local tv and newspapers, advertising and wouldn't you know it,they(press) couldn't wait to blast any story, usually a factory recall that was proactive for public safety, they would make the dealer look like villians, sure glad I am out of that rat race! Anyway, got off on a tangent there,IMO,we will slowly starting to see our SSR's values, start heading upward, nice low mile
ssr's will obvisouly lead the way as more and more people not only discover
how cool these trucks really are and more positive word of mouth travels across country at each and every car show they find them at,it simply is a matter of supply and demand that's all and time of course! This yellow 2005 featured
in this thread is exactly the way ours looked when we bought it!MSRP,I am looking at my window sticker($49,400.00)All it takes is a few(sellers) to hold out for
there price and suddenly the values will start reversing themselves.I wouldn't
sell ours for any money at this time,it's priceless to us,especially after one personalizes theirs!!That's my opinion folks for whatever it's worth?! Good Evening to ya!!
