Lookin' Good, PEWTER . . . almost looks too good to be true for 23 bucks.

Give 'em a shot and let us know what you think.

Nice as the pictures are, when you actually get a chance to fondle them, you won't believe the quality and finish.

Stainless Works has a great selection of polished tips, though I don't know if they make them in 5" O.D. These are double wall 3" inlet 4" outlet that I'm installing. Fit and finish is outstanding!

I'm not looking for trouble, just my .02, but I kinda like the rolled end look. The Bosels are not stainless and they Rust PEWTERLIFTEDZ may have made a good find IMHO

I agree, the rolled end tips look awesome ... but the rust was uncalled for.

Hopefully what PEWTERLIFTEDZ posted is as good as it says.

22$ SS tips from eBay

I have a set of these tips that I bought from Skip White off eBay back in January and will take them home with me in April and install.

'In hand' they look like good quality. They are heavy @3.6 pounds each and for the price I don't think they can be beat. I was suprised at how nice they where really. Too good to be true, I don't think so.

Why? Enough people have mentioned that Bosels rust, to indicate it's true.

the R got home last night, I should be ordering and installing a set of these in the coming weeks.
I'm a double wall fan, but the ssr is an exception for me. I kinda like the rolled tips mounted flush with the top of the semi circle..

Most of the double wall tips are connected together on both ends. This is good for trueness between the inner and outer shell, but really transfers a lot of heat. The OEM tips, the Bosals and some others get hot enough to disfigure the rear fascia. I've seen the fascia melted onto a tip that was touching.....................

Best to you,

Mike

I had Bosel Tips, looked good, did rust some.

Ever wonder why the tips on Ebay are only $22.00 dollars??

Mike' tip is not the only one out there, I am sure.

But my Muffler Shop said Mike's Tips are very high quality and a GREAT price.

We use this shop for lots of SSR installs.

I respect his opinion.

I am very pleased with Mike's tips.

Those folks around here spend big bucks on accessories and zero on engine maintainance. You can see them leaving a oil smoke trail a mile down the road:
