How many remotes got broken in the last 10 minutes????

I'm guessing 10??

And they come back on air to show a smart car?????

No wonder nobody in the real world knows what an SSR is.

SSR Prices

After checking the website for Barrett-Jackson, due to commercials taking the place of our beloved SSR's, here's the selling prices -

05 Subway #4 - $46,000.00

03 American LeMans $30,000.00

03 Sony HD #3 - $40,000.00

Would loved to hear the information offered during bidding, but Speed made
those precious advertising dollars.

I just sent them a rant. Let's see if they dare to answer this one.
When they came back to promo the Porche fantasy bid I heard the SSR mentioned in the back ground and they could have cut to it. They did not. They have zero integrity.

Couldn't help my self.

Had to send off a disapproval letter to Both BJ and Speed for the poor coverage this year.

Well' enough of this I'm going out in the shop.

What a disapointment. You would think with 3 R's real close together they could have given air time to at least one, but noooo.
Instead they show a Smart Car that's not even street legal. I love Camaros, Chevelles and Vettes, but how many of those do you need to see? We've been totally DIS'ed.

My thoughts are that Ford Motor Company is the major sponsor this year and that might be why the SSRs got NO coverage and the Ford muscle cars are having more auction time spent on them and bringing higher money than others............it seems more than a coincidence that the Mopars brought huge money last year(and soft this year) when Chrysler was a major sponsor last year

If that would have been a GM commencial it would have be banned because of reckless driving like the corvette commerical was a couple years ago!

I just got the reply to my RANT and it was a canned response based on the fact that I mentioned Fantasy bidding in the text. I guess no one wanted to read anything with SSR in the sbject line after they missed all three due to commmercials.

i quoted all he above from the bid contest because I sent the Speed guys this link to check and see ow upset we are.

Last year or the year before, those B-J announcers and Brock Yates really put down the SSRs. Yates said it wasn't a real truck and Chevrolet shouldn't have put that silly convertible on it. So it doesn't surprise me that those #%@* wouldn't even show one this year!
I think I'm not a Barrett-Jackson fan any more!
