My SSR: SSR gone but still Redline Red aka TORCH RED!!!!!!
Floor mats anyone.......
Looks like a great deal on either the regular or the rubber OEM SSR mats. He's got like 30 pairs for sale @$35/pair "buy it now". Indicated the rubber ones have a minor blemish. (GM Part # for regular is 15104348 and 17800279 for the rubber ones.)
Can anyone get a picture of the rubber ones showing the blemish and post. Then I can get a Fanatic I know to bid for me (seller would'nt sell to Canada)
I have his email and have asked him for photos of the blemish and if they fit '05-'06 models. Jon is a very cool guy and easy to deal with! I'd go for a 2nd set of blemished rubbers @ $35. Paid almost $100 for the 1st set w/ shipping.

So the "plain" mat is'nt such a great deal after all. So does that mean stitching the logo into the plain mat adds like $80? Well maybe the rubber ones with the logo are a good deal. MauiMike, when you get photos from Jon please post.
My $80 mats are the rubber ones w/ logo. Not the $18 no logo plain mats. Contact Jon thru the eBay link above. I will not give out his personal email address w/out his permission.
From Jon;
Hi, the rubber deformity is hard to see, the paint bleed is a little bit easier. See the attached pictures.
There are a total of 3 mats for the SSR from GM (multiple part numbers). There is the plain mat that was standard on the 2003-2004 models & is slightly smaller, there is the embroidered mat that was standard on the 2005-2006 models and is slightly larger, and there is the rubber mat which is almost identical in size to the 2005-2006 models. As far as I know (I have never fit tested them), you should be able to exchange the mats between years. As an example, the embroidered mats have 2 part number for the 2003-2004 and the 2005-2006, although the mat is the same identical mat that was standard on the 2005-2006 vehicles. The rubber mat meanwhile does not specify a year of SSR at all and is sold to owners of all years SSR’s. There is very little difference between the years – check out the picture I sent of the 2003/2004 grey mat and the all weather mat side by side. The upper left corner of the mat is the only difference – the other mat is identical in size.

I take it the 3rd photo is of the "pinhole" blemish. I guess the SSR white smearing is probably small also. Just curious for those who have a set, is the white easy to clean or once scuffed does it stay dulled (ie like the white on a whitewall tire). IS the colors on the rubber mat actually painted on or is it colored rubber??
Frank
ps- looks like 8 of the 30 are now sold..................

Red Dirt here, Daily Driver, so it stays dirty. I like them because it catches the dirt and sand & it's easy to dump out w/out vacuuming. The rubber appears to be colored, hence the smear, but for $35 bucks, ya can't go wrong. Seriously, who's gonna get down there and look?
When my new SSR was delivered w/no mats.. I got the dealer to throw in the GM embroidered set.. he had to order them, so my very first mats were those screwy paper things..I got some Burgandy Pepboy cheapo's the next day that are still in the truck..I'm glad to have the embroidered ones in case the supply dries up..They finally arrived and are still brand-new and unused in the GM carton...But the rubber ones look great for everyday use..I just ordered a pair..A GREAT deal too, I paid less than 50bucks inc delivery to Vegas..I think I can can live with a tiny blemish.

My SSR: Pearl over UV tu-tone - "PurLple" w/ custom billet rallye wheels/baby moons & wide whitewalls, 4:56s
I did send the seller a question, to see if he'll ship to Canada - stranger things have happened! But I haven't heard back yet and there's only 3 left. By the way, the dealership here wants to charge me $142

I just received feedback from the seller, says he won't ship international;
From Jon; "I have had a lot of bad luck shipping to Canada so unfortunately I no longer do. I made sure I responded to all email inquiries explaining why – hopefully they understand."
Possibly more mats to come next week. He needs to concentrate on packaging and shipping these orders 1st. I will post more as soon as he gives the word.

Jon responded quickly and explained it to me. I figured it never hurts to ask. Told him where I was located just in case he was a stones throw across the border and I could just drive down and pick them up. Guess not.

He's in Ypsilanti, MI. Maybe 10-15 more sets? Will know more sometime next week. He's kind of overwhelmed with the response of all 35 sets selling in 2 days plus his regular ebay SSR stuff. He says once he gets it all sorted out, boxed and shipped, he'll work on the next group of mats. He wants to ship out this group ASAP.

Hold yer horses. I don't really want them, am quit satisfied with my embroidered carpet ones. Just did the nosing around for frankmp's sake.
I like the look of those rubber ones with the SSR outline, but after paying Jon for shipping to you, I'd have to turn around and pay you for more shipping then the $35 deal ain't such a deal anymore.
Thanks anyway cowtownssr, you know I appreciate the offer
