What do you want for it?

So you bought lipstick and jewelry to make your 05 look like a 06? Does the word "con" bubble up in your world when you are concerned where you are going?.. I see politics in your future...

Have been into the collector car scene since 1982 (back then it was Auburns, Cords, Dusenbergs, 50's Mercedes etc. that we all drooled over).

The final year of any low production model nearly always brings a premium. Case in point, from the just released September-October 2008 Black Book--Cars of Particular Interest (CPI) Collector Vehicle Value Guide:

1993 Cadillac Allante': $21,700 #2 (Excellent) Condition
1992 Cadillac Allante': $13,475 #2 (Excellent) Condition

2006 SSR: $34,650 #2 (Excellent) Condition
2005 SSR: $30,200 #2 (Excellent) Condition

Good news in general! Values of all SSRs increased since the last issue of CPI was published (June):

2003 +6%
2004 +5%
2005 +4%
2006 +4%

Ok. You often quote your price estimates on the board. What do you think a faked 2006 FPR is worth? How much more than a 2005?

Don't forget about the temperature reading in the '06 DIC, and the fact that it's an '05, not an '06.

I'll have to check some of your pricing posts to see if $ 30 K for an '05 6 speed Blur is a good deal or not
