I finally sold my 69 Camaro and think I found an SSR to buy. I need some friendly advice from the FANTATICS.
Could someone run this VIN: 1GCES14P04B111638
Its a 2004 with approximately 41K miles. Red, with bedliner and gauges, running boards. Pretty basic, I think.
What do you PRO's think its worth? and please dont give me some philosophical - "Its worth what someone is willing to pay". I'm looking to see if the asking price is fair. Its at $23K.
My SSR: #23198 06 Blue 3SS #375 of 532 - Birthday 12/21/05 - Took delivery 9/5/06 (2nd owner)
For reference: There is a 2004 in Covina, CA with 17k miles and the dealer is asking $31k according to the salesman when I just walked in off the street. He had no answers for any questions because it just came in and had not even been washed yet. I could not hang around since I was on the clock. When I called later the guy on the phone did not even know the dealer had it .

Raider Keith; Good luck on your purchase!!!
Well, I'm one of those BLESSED guys that has/had too many toys. I still have my H-D Roadking and my '57 chevy. I am going to have to give my daily driver to my 15 year old soon. So instead of driving the 69 around daily, I thought it was time for a change and want to get something with modern conviniences (a/c etc.)

It would be interesting to know the "Black Book" value, which is usually thousands less than the "Blue Book" value. It's what the dealer will give you on a trade in. Find out both and work out a price somewhere in the middle and both of you will have made a good deal. THe asking price right now seems a good bit high, regardless of the condition. That's a lot of miles on a vehicle that age for the price.

In the last 2 months I have got a Windsuppressr, new rubber mats,a spoiler,Magnafow Muffler, Bosal Tips, and just today I finished puting on the Crossmenber, tomorrow I am going to pull the 2 fuses and see if thies guys know what they ar talking about. Go for it and you wont be sorry. Its not the cost, It the pleasure it will give you. Jack (Jxtals) Good Luck.
What would you Fanatics offer for this SSR. It is fairly close to me (less than 100 mi). Let me know what you guys think...I am going to try to see it.

thats a nice 04 with low miles & has the chrome wheels, looks like it has no running boards and since its not mentioned, probably no carpeted bed area. I have an 04 red and track the prices regualarly, $19 - $25 is the range I've seen. $22 would be a fair offer considering the low miles.
