Says it has a 7 Litre, did they bore out the 6? Doesn't look that much different under the hood than an 05/06.

Interesting mods... Carbon fiber wings in the front are a bit odd... wonder if they serve a purpose?

They talk about the frame having no joints or welds. GM used an extended frame from a Trailblazer and sectioned it for the SSR.

This truck was owned by fanatic member WingedBeast (aka MMT Racing):

You could do a search on gatherings in the New Jersey area for more pictures and a few posts by the owner (or former owner) of this truck.

Some Pictures were posted by Big Jim from one of the SSR Group gatherings in New Jersey last year:

Here is what the previous owner said about it at the NJ meet...

"Not much on my SSR is stock other than the seats!

I had the engine replaced with a custom LS6 including all ported polished cylinder heads, valve spring & retainers, stainless stell intake/exhaust valves, 3 angle valve job, custom designed hydraulic roller camshaft, custom forged aluminum pistons w/11.5:1 comp, forged steel crankshaft & billet steel connecting rods.

- 44lb injectors, headers, 3" exhaust system, custom ram induction system, custom radiator, custom oil cooler system, performance transmission, corvette racing rear, heavy duty torque converter, performance springs, shocks, and brakes.

- Carbon fiber front winglets, lower front air dam, and rear wing and xpel clear coating in front.

- HRE 648 R 3 piece forged 20" wheels w/ Michelin Diamaris tires.

- Lambo doors

- Inside: audio/video system with custom housing of 11 speakers, in dash DVD screen 5.1 dolby surround sound system including components from Alpine, Zapco, DynAudio, Morel and JL Audio. Scanmaster onboard computer and built in radar - laser detectors which are needed."

When I asked about the wings on the front bumper, he said it was needed while driving at top speed....

Here is a thread talking about it more:

It sure looks better than when I first saw it at one of our local NJ meets, they must have done some serious cleaning clean up and hide away of all the wires that were exposed all over especially in the engine bay. I do like the lambo doors but would not go through what he said he had to get them to fit right and having that engine would satisfy me, can you say lots of burning rubber baby.

I think he (the original owner) was originally trying to sell it around $70k.....so the price now is quite a discount...

Read a little more, they say that they have replaced that engine with a Steel 7 L. That means it could be from a seventy's or later Vehicle. They have installed a 427 Old Steel Block Engine. The photo's are of the Original Engine. They are talking about a Cast Iron Block, not really Steel
Check it out I may have miss read it myself.

A picture of the Lambo Door Hinge was posted previously by the owner (former owner now?). See links and quotes below.

But he modified the fender to be able to get that clearance......

I circled where the bump is, but it is really hard to see and there is an equal bump on the fender....

I'm sure others can give a better discription/picture.
Picture illustrating where 'bump' had to be added to accomadate Lambo hinges:

It's actually quite nice.

I mean R's are supposed to stand out anyway, and this one certainly fits the bill. My only concern would be maintenance.

Specialized garage maybe?

I saw another with lambo doors. There was a very unrefined gap where the hinge was. This one looks much better by the partial picture, but still would like to see a full shot.
