This was just listed with CarMax Irvine CA with little detail and some too vague.
They list it as a 2006 but if they have the VIN correct it should be #117/238 - 3SS VYJ.
21.5k - $29k - 1GCES14H76B122809
***Pictures have come up.
It has 3SS VYJ 14P BVF ERH ERK VXM which translated means pretty full load. GREAT BUY!!
Added: I confused this one and the one I noted in Post #9. That will teach me for not doing separate threads!!
This one was built with the VYJ. The FPR in Post #9 was not.

Reason: Add VIN
Seriously folks, Carmax doesn't know what they have when they get an SSR. Myself and another fellow in Texas both bought ours from Carmax and very favorable prices and both were in very, very good condition. I don't work for them and my brother in law bought a mustang GT convertable from them and his experience on that car was horrendous. However, I have to say my 28K mile, 05 redline was as perfect as a 28K car/truck can get and I've not had any problems with it. So, if I was interested in buying another one, I'd take a drive over to it and look it over.
That was my point. I was trying to give Fanatics the heads up that it is a whereas everyone else will see it as a .
I presume there is a little more value to the TuTone but if nothing else, harder to come by.

Another just hit the market. It is a Final Production Run #205/238 - 3SS no VYJ.
Very limited info, no color or price listed but it is a FPR - 28k miles.
West Chevrolet in Alcoa, TN
Add VIN so as not to get confused with Post # 1. 1GCES14HX6B123615
My SSR: #23198 06 Blue 3SS #375 of 532 - Birthday 12/21/05 - Took delivery 9/5/06 (2nd owner)

Same here....bought my 05 six speed with 900 miles from them...no problems and good price. I love my six speed but my wife has neck problems and its hard for her to ride in it. Think I will drive over and check out a trade possibility. Have 24 K on my 05. Think the sales tax will be the biggest problem and hurdle.

Pictures have come up on the listing. VYJ has been added. I have added comments to Post #1.
This looks like a good one that someone should be chasing down! I could see it easily being in the $32-33 range if it is as good as it appears.
Edit: My error - VYJ was original on this one.

Reason: Clarify VYJ
im buying the 22809 out of irvine, CA.
I guess it was just fate, we had some problems trying to buy duece's R from a dealer in waco last week. Then this beauty popped up for sale. Carmax is going to transfer it to me for $549, but hell thats a fraction of what it must of cost to add the VYJ package.

Yes, I just sorted that out in my mind. I should have separated the 2 into different threads to save confusion.
I think you got a very good buy there even if you paid full asking price. It really looks good and has all the right stuff.
