I am looking at buying a 2004 redline with 2800 miles. Can someone please run vin #13303. Also please give me an idea of what I should pay. It is in great shape. Thanks in advance for your help

This is a very good looking SSR, and would appear to be nicely optioned.

It does not have the ERG console gauges which is about all one could want for other than possibly the VR4 hitch insert and C44 Cockpit Windscreen. I'm not sure what all is in the attached picture.


There is a box in the back that is chef sooprise. I do not know what that one is. The small flat box is the CTD.
I would normally have a difficult time getting over $26k for a 2004 as you can find very nice 2005's for $27+. However, given the low miles, condition and options I can see going into the $27-28 range, particularly if you do not care if it has the LS2 or LM4. I have never driven an LM4 so really can't comment one way or the other but over half the SSR's out there have the smaller engine and people are very happy with them. Regular fuel also, and I don't care who you are, fuel cost is becoming a consideration.
You will be buying a very nice SSR if you go for it. Of course, try and get it for $26k. Then I would say it would be "well bought" as the BJ guys say.
They may have just set the RAE in there because I see the slats are still in the tracks.
BTW, I don't think anything you see on a build sheet will have any sway over your decision to buy this or not.

Nicely appointed. Does not have C44 cockpit windscreen (easily enough found for $150-250) or the console gauge package, not so easily found and fairly dear. I see the other box in the picture is for the VR4 hitch insert.
I notice the owner has replaced the 96P Ultra silver wheels with the 14P Chromes. I am sure he would have put OEM wheels on but you might want to confirm they are not rechromed or aftermarket, if that matters to you.
