They have refused two requests to say what their asking price is. Instead they keep calling my office and leaving messages even though I asked them not to call. So I'm out.

I too have spoken to two different ladies, each taking lots of info and requesting even more. Finally I said "What gives, do you want to sell the truck or not" The last one said she would have to have the sales manager call me back.........No call back

This has come full circle Funny how fate and karma works. You all remember the first post I made about this famous truck...2006....100 grand?
As you all know, I have been bellyaching about not even looking at a SRR, let alone drive one. Yesterday morning, sitting with coffee and brought up Autotrader and I'l be darn....there was a truck 9 miles! from me at a dealership of all things. I see it's an 06 and chrome package and think I better get my butt ovet there now.... grabbed the keys and was gone.
Get there and low and behold... there she was.... the first time I seen one in person and that aqua color was simply gorgeous! Still not knowing price, I ask and it was quoted a little over 35 grand and I just looked at him with a dazed look as I saw that FPR badge between seats and thought..they don't know what they have. I ask if there has been any calls on it and he said "Not yet, we just put in there this morning."..and yawned... I was thinking...oh crap..... I better move quick so I asked for a drive. Thankfully the day was nice out so we took it for a nice stroll.... and now I understand about the grin... I was blown away with this truck and knew I was gonna buy the beast.
I ask about previous owner and said he was from North Canton and had a one payment lease on it and traded it in to them for a car. Still didn't click as to who he was as the salesman showed me the carfax. I was too dang excited to think... So negos start and the calls started coming in as we talked. I could have got them down more if I had more time but just was afraid of losing it so I settled for $34,500. I couldn't finish it uptil this morning so just got back. But on the way home yesterday....thinking about the previous owner and something was nagging me about it and it suddenly hit me!... this was that damn 100 grand truck! I was just blown away how fate works sometime.
Anyways...I am now a SSR owner and actually got one I usually just dreamed about..never figuring anything would come this way that rare. I am still sitting here just blown away!........ thanks for all the help in educating me peeps and look forward to now being a part of this fine forum...
