Over $100K Invested in this One?

I thought everyone might like to take a look at this SSR for sale on ebay. Single owner vehicle....the seller has over $100K invested in it!

Chevrolet : SSR - eBay (item 260729485428 end time Feb-05-11 10:44:24 PST)

Correction - the owner spent $ 100,000 on it, he did not invest anything.

Spending money on customizing is like owning a boat.....it's like throwing money into a hole in the water. The owner made this truck his dream ride.

I hope they get good money for it, but customs usually bring less $$$ at resale.

$22,00 in performance upgrades then it had too much HP at 600 so it had to be detuned to 500 HP. Sounds like a waste of money.

It says there was a death in the family.

I like the wheels. They look like billet specialties "Santa fe".

I agree with Doug on this one, and apparently so does the seller. From his write-up on EBay.

Thank You for looking at our 2004 Chevrolet SSR, It is a one of kind no expense spared truck. This truck is a one owner vehicle that has been cared for and babied since new. There is over $100k spent on the truck with all receipts.

Nice looking truck. At first glance I thought it was black and orange, but the Ultra violet top half shows up nicely in the sun on some of the photos.

They really did it right. Totally reworked LS6 crate engine with a supercharger. The photos and description are a good read and see.

when I look at the motor pic and see no detailing as he states it washed weekly and detailed once a month, motor looks dusty,
mine looks better and it has 27000.
of course I take pride in mine, so its clean inside and out and under the hood
