I have updated the first posting in this thread, where the instructions are on how to send funds for the e-book, to reflect the new email address, but did not have time to search the entire thread for occurrences of the old email address!
Whether buying the e-book, asking for the sample, or just writing to me, please be sure to use:
Sailing: I emailed it out last evening after I got back to the hotel room. I assume you received it ok!
It's been exciting here in Buffalo on assignment this week. Up to 32 inches of snow in some suburbs, and the NY Throughway being closed - with hundreds of people trapped on it for up to 13 hours. "Lake effect snow" is not a fable, it is real!
Payment just sent. I've been vacillating on this toooo loooong. From reading all the posts I'll be purchasing an SSR soon -or not. Whichever way the book sways me, thanx for making it available.
rickas: I just emailed you the book! I understand what you mean about buying an SSR or not - it is certainly a unique vehicle that not everyone will be comfortable with as a daily driver! That's what makes it particularly special. Large corporations like GM do not normally take risks like that.
Jim - got your email & printed part of " The Experience" already this AM. You hit the nail right on the head, I have to be comfortable using an SSR as an almost daily driver, but I have to justify (in my own mind) running up the miles on a relatively low mileage Classic. In the Chevelle World I tend to give grief to those with "trailer queens" , but I more understand now why they don't drive them regularly; and I don't even have an SSR - YET!
Unfortunately I'm selling my 2006. But would really like to learn what I can because I'd like to get one again in the future. Also it'd be great to send with it when it goes Help inform someone else what a great vehicle they've purchased and it's possibilities
