This is a well maintained 2005 with custom engine,cam, heads and valve train modifications. As you can see from the few pictures available at this time,Tim was very meticulous about keeping the mechanics of his SSR,He purchased many parts from Mike in AZ,(Simple Engineering) Mike is going to
see if he had a record of Tim's purchases.The truck is located in Sheridan,Oregon. If you have interest in this ssr,please call myself(Hal 253-906-2626) and I will put you in touch with the excecutor of Tim's estate.The title is clear.

Auxiliary fan kit
Transmission oil cooler
The adders from me cost about $1600 and the last one (tranny cooler) agrees with the 2800 converter that he had an automatic in the truck.

I have been a Chevy guy since I was 16 which is 37 years ago, always dreamed of having a Corvette some day then about 3 years ago, when I was getting close to retiring and finally was going to be able to afford a 2000 or 2001 Vette, I started checking out the SSRs and the more I saw them, the more I liked them, I test drove a 2004 and liked it but was disappointed that the production models only had the 5.3 engine instead of the 6.0 that the concept car had. Then when the 05s came out with the LS2 engine I test drove two, an automatic and a 6 speed, from that point on, I was determined to get one. I sold my California house in August 2006, paid cash for a house in Oregon, turned in my paperwork to retire Oct. 1, 2006. While waiting those couple months to retire, I started seriously looking for an SSR, had been watching them on the internet for over a year and was looking for the right deal, then Sept. 1, 2006 I went to Southern CA to see my Mom one more time before I moved to Oregon, I had found a REd 05 SSR for sale at a dealer 30 minutes from my Mom's house, so I went to look at it and ended up buying it, it had 12000 miles on it and I got it for $28,900 at that price I just could not pass it up, I took my 76 yr old mother with me and took her along on the test drive, she has always been very conservative about cars, especially buying one that expensive, but after riding in it, when I told her I was seriously considering buying it, she said Go for it, you deserve it ! That was all it took and I have been loving that decision ever since then. Told myself I was going to keep it stock and keep the miles low on it for investment purposes but that went out the window fairly soon. Latest SSR accessory is my new tattoo pictured below.
