This is my truck history is intersting not documented
This is my truck, I bought it from Country Chevrolet in Covington TN. The truck was registered to General Motors. I was told by the dealer it was the truck used in the St. Louis Auto Show. (No Proof) The name on the original paper work is an executive at GM.I have the original window sticker and it is blank. I did not care about all this, I just liked the truck. When I bought it, it had 8,XXX miles. It is not my everyday driver, but I do travel some with my work and have used it on some of the road trips I have taken. Why not have a little fun while you work. The only issues with the truck are the ding on the roof pictured and if you look real close there is a faint handprint in the clearcoat on the bedcover. It is so minor I could not get a picture of it. I do love this truck, but I have an old vette as well that I store at my shop. My business is growing and I either have to sell one of the cars or park it outside. I feel the price is fair considering the mileage. Any other 2006 with this mileage would be considered low mileage? Ky titles only have the a place for one color. Thanks for looking
I believe that this is one of the very few 2006 trucks that were produced while the product line was still building 2005s. If I am right, this may be the very first two tone 2006 produced. A check of some of the VIN numbers on each side will tell. This may have been built before the two tone 2006 model driver introduction trucks..........
Worth looking into a little, might actually be a rare unit.

Believe that als-ssr is both the first '06 produced (#21304) and the first TuTone (Smokin' over Ricochet). jgream, still a very early production '06--best of luck selling her.

Shoot, I just bought my 2006 Tu-tone with 35k miles, now 36k miles in January. Mine does have the chrome package. I am the third owner, the second owner bought it at a Chevy dealer and it was certified. Thus, yours should be certified too. So your original warranty will be extended to 39k miles or 39 months bumper to bumper. A little peace of mind to the new owner and you should be able to get $31,500 with no problem as these tu-tones are highly desirable and are bringing mid-upper $30's with low miles.

ok, I had a ssrfanatic member pull up the VIS on this vehicle and this is what he found:
" This shows to be a GM show car, warranty start May 28 2005. It shows warranty work at dealers in Tenn. and Ky, but no extended warranty."
So it is not a GM Certified vehicle, but the warranty is good til May 28th, 2008 so you can still get an extended warranty before the first one runs out.
