Wanted 2006 SSR with chrome pkg

I have a friend that wants to pay cash for a 2006 SSR with chrome pkg 3SS and a Automatic. He wants one with less than 10,000 miles. He only wants RED

BLUE

BLUR

or BLACK

.

He does not have a computer to find one. So for the past two weeks he calls me everyday to ask have you found me one yet.

I have a 2006 3SS Black with Chrome package and auto. It is also a Final Production Run model and has color matched running boards. I added one of the ASC rear spoilers and an iPod dash mount. Mine has higher mileage at 27,000, but it has been regularly maintained. Factory original warranty ends Aug 2009 but have 3 extra years of GMPP.

Tank has a redline 06 loaded but with the six stick for $35,000 or bo and it only has 2100 miles on it. Check it out. Mike

If your friend is interested, I checked Kelly Blue Book on my 06 FPR at its 27K mileage versus 5K, and the resale value only differs by $300... hmmmm.

I am thinking maybe $32K without the extra 3 years of GMPP or $34K with it.

I looked at a build sheet for lakecats blur (which is presumably low mileage) and for an absolute full load with chrome who is to say it is not worth $38k? I suppose a guy with $34k! It is worth what a willing buyer and willing seller agree on. I was looking at SSR's on the market and see so many '05/'06 from $30-34 no chrome and not FPR. Some no boards, gauges, compartment trim. If someone wants the best and does not want to settle for the median then he might just have to shell out a few more bucks. I don't see it serving any purpose to any of us to start suggesting we are overvaluing our vehicles. Let a buyer make his suggestion to the seller, hopefully privately.

I met a guy today with a black SSR with chrome, Auto, 3SS, carpeted bed, soft bags, & cold air intake.
It has 11,000 miles and he says is in perfect condition. Asking $32,000 - this may be just what your friend is looking for.

Unfortunately, the market for '06's is in the toilet, dragging down other years.

screwed everybody.
