well, it looks like it's that time and I need help.
Hi all. Well I guess it is time to consider selling the Dragon but I need help pricing her. A lot of you have seen her but here are the specifics..
2005 automatic 1SB with the chrome wheels, running boards and cargo wood. She has 35000 miles on her. 119725.
The only work is the slightly obvious paint work , a wind suppresser and flow masters.
I just don't need three trucks when it is only me and Bear and the other trucks are for work. After I finish paying off out daughter's wedding I'll see what catches my eye on the market.

Bummer my friend... I'm sure you will get a good price for your beautiful truck. I will miss seeing it on Krome Ave! Miss you too, it's been a while! Hope all is well, say hi to Bear!

Hi Mari! I have the best luck with selling anything custom on Ebay, wider audience I guess. List it a little high the first time and see what happens, take good pics and make your write-up as exciting as possible. Didn't Juan Perlata paint yours too, definitely mention that. Good luck!
Boy...how things have changed. Many professionals in all fields of sales (antiques to cars, to every item ever produced) now use eBay as their standard for value of items. I've gone into places where experts in their field would go directly to eBay to find out what the value of an item is. eBay works incredibly well often. You'll be surprised sometimes what you can get for your item. There are times you'll be disappointed because we all feel what we own is more valuable than we think.
IMO as custom painted vehicles go the wilder and more personalized the paint job the less likely it will increase the value to a potential buyer. I'd shoot for getting what a non-custom SSR might fetch.

There you go! I always start at my "dream price" the first time I put something up for sale - you can always adjust your price down, but you'll kick yourself if you price it too low. Just market it like it's the best thing since dark chocolate!

Not dark chocolate, light beer
I agree, shoot high on the initial price, and be prepared to take a down to earth offer. If you find that one buyer with tastes similar to yours, you might hit the jackpot.

I agree... put the info about Juan's award in the ad too. People that have money and like something or think it is special in some way will buy it. If that weren't true I would never sell my own artwork (trying to compete with third world artists low prices)!

Lots of stuff going to Canada and Europe right now, also had a guy here who was filling overseas containers with classic and custom cars to send to some island. You want to emphasize that your truck stands out in the crowd, don't apologize for being different. If you look at autotrader.com you'll see almost 500 SSRs for sale, so steer clear of that. Even if you market it locally appeal to people's emotions..."Tired of blending into the masses? Can't find your car in the mall parking lot without help from OnStar? Hit summer head on with this powerful, sexy Super Sport Roadster with custom paint job by award-winning painter Juan Perlata" yada, yada, yada....

Start with a good high "BlueBook" and add half of what's into it.
Some one said to me that putting upgrades ($$$) into a car is like wall papering an apartment. It's hard to get back what's into it unless you find that special buyer. Good luck. It is a pretty R.
