Yes, they are paintable, we primed it two or three times and sanded each coat. Then painted and clear coated. Then sanded the clear coat and buff. It a lot of work but looks great.

So the engine cover is ABS plastic like the
Front bumper cover?
Did you have to put a flex additive to the

All I know is that my body shop did it for $40 and it looks great and is a lot easier to clean. He gave me a good price since "the paint was already mixed and would have been wasted."
