327 Emblem

I am on the hunt for a pair of SS 327 emblems to add to my R. I have found the Impala ones, but they only have the 327 with the flags. From deep in the recesses of my jaded youth, I imagine having seen something like that with the SS on it as well.

The SSR 5.3 is really a 325 not a 327. That's if you want the right cu. in.

Chevrolet never had a 327 SS emblem on any model. The first year 327 used a set of crossed flags superimposed on a v emblem but no SS emblem.

Thanks for confirming my faulty memory. May go with just the 327 with the flags, though the style seems out of place on the R. Any idea who on the boards could craft something custom?

Have you thought about the possibility of maybe having the "SS 327" painted on by a airbrush artist?

Got to get the vintage stuff right.

It was "Little GTO" by Ronnie and the Daytonas

The other was a Beach Boys favorite "She's real fine my 409"

But you're right - that song wouldn't sound right either. Just doesn't rhyme, and the lyrics would be just too long.

Right now on EBay if you put in Chevrolet 327 Emblem, just on the first page over 20 items are what your looking for. Good luck.
