Aussie, the original tips are 4" the ones I have are 5"

Do you, or anyone, have as recommendation for removing all the carbon that builds up on the lower lips of them?

I use oven cleaner. Spray on, let soak, wipe off. If you have chrome tips - DONT use steel wool. I have the 5" tips and after hearing them I didnt put the Flowmaster on. I liked the rumble and gurgle the 5" gave over the Flowmaster I heard on another SSR.
