I need a clutch fluid reservior cap. Mine is missing the rubber piece that seals the reservior when the cap is screwed on. So, I get a tiny bit of leakage around the cap. Unfortunately, Chevy doesn't just sell the lid, and the whole assembly goes for about $150 .
So, if anyone has one, please let me know. Thanks!

I made a new seal out of gasket material and saved $ 145.00.

I found a spare cap to epoxy a polished aluminum cap onto at an autowrecker for next to nothing.
If you can find one from a Fiero, it will have a much better seal on it.

Somebody is thinking....good move Doug. I'll keep this in mind.
I have a question about the gasket fit. Should it be pressed up against the top of the cap and surround the center hole flange. Sometimes the gasket is separated from the top (stuck/attached to the cylinder) when I remove the top.

Place it against the top, the OEM seal tends to sag, but when you screw on the cap it should contact both surfaces, top and bottom.

It's that ring(circle)in the center of the cap. Should the gasket be pressed onto the ring flange vent....I might have to take a picture to illustrate.

No, it's a vent and needs to breathe to allow the expansion and contraction of the fluid, determined by temperature and pressure in the system.
