What it came down to is I had toooo many toys and no time to enjoy them.

Over the past year I sold two Vettes (04 Z16 & an 08 Z06) with less than 70 miles each, and an 03 Z06 with 1600 miles. I only drove my SSR <300 miles in the past 15 months and that was more than all others combined. The guilt got to me...

I'm down to one Z06 garage queen for a while. I need to be good and stay out of the "For Sale" section.

OK guys, please not too much I'm gonna show some extreme ignorance here What's in a detail kit that makes it go for $40? This is the first car I intend to do a lot of detailing myself (have paid to have it done in the past). Does the detail kit include stuff for the engine compartment?

The cleaning supplies ( window cleaner, cleaner wax & polish spray) are pretty good but the bag is what makes it worth it. It's black leather and has the SSR logo embroidered into it. I sold an empty bag on eBay some time back for more than $40.00.....

Thanks for the info. So, my next question is; are there any special tools for getting into the nooks and crannys in the engine compartment? It's pretty clean right now, but it is my daily driver and I want to stay ahead of the road grime buildup.

There are many products that perform better than those included in the OEM kit, do a little research and try a few of them.

The OEM kit is desirable as an OEM accessory, and I'd recommend keeping it intact if you find one. They're not making any more of them.
