Doc's Chevy SSR 2003-2006 AIR CLEANER HOUSING Trim Bar Inserts

2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR billet aluminum air cleaner housing trim bar inserts. (Air cleaner housing NOT INCLUDED).

I "found" a box of 100+ of my air cleaner trim bars in the as-cut and unfinished condition on a shelf in my shop. I forgot where I had put them! I'm going to sell them unfinished and you can customize them any way you want to. Chrome, powder coat, paint, texture, brush... do them the way YOU want them.

Too bad they're not polished or I'd be interested.

I may not have ended up where I intended to go, but I know I've ended up where I'm intended to be...starting out with nothing and still having most of it left!

If you want to get the front half of the air cleaner housing off, you take the bolts out like you do when you change the air filter.

The laser leaves a tiny tab on both ends to hold them in the aluminum sheet. Just twist them back and forth a couple times and they will break out. Carefully file or sand them and finish them the way you want to. Automotive trim adhesive works to mount them. Be sure the plastic on the air cleaner housing is clean.
