SSR Polished Billet Items
These are the original and highest quality billet accessories you can get that were the first engine accessories available for the SSR. Although they look like chrome, all my parts are made with solid 6061 aircraft grade aluminum polished to a high sheen.
Please view and click on the images below for expanded viewing and send me a PM (Private Message) for detailed ordering information. When you contact me for an order please specify which method you would like to use for payment, check, MO or Paypal. If you would like insurance please note that as well so I can add that to the total amount to cover damage or loss by the shipping carrier.
If you don't want the SSR logo on any of the items I can custom mill any design you want or none at all. All parts install with 3M double stick tape, RTV, or any other method of your choosing, make sure all parts are clean before installation to insure good adhesion. Orders will normally arrive to you anywhere from 2-4 weeks or so after I receive payment, depending on when your order was placed. May take longer depending on work load at machinist at time of order.
Note that numbered items correlate to the picture below:

4. Billet Radiator Overflow
5. Billet AC port covers (pair)
6. Billet Bed Strut covers (pair)
7. Billet Bed strut mount covers (pair)
8. Billet Horizontal Airbox Inserts (3 parts)
9. Billet Airbox top plates (pair)
10. Billet Cold Air Intake cover
11. Billet Air cleaner base plate
12. Billet Hood Latch Surround Trim
13. Billet Door Sill covers
No Number - Air Vent Covers in polished or brushed finish
No Number - Under hood latch plate
No Number - Door handle covers
ENGINE FLUID CAPS - Cover engine oil, window washer, radiator overflow, power steering and brake fluid caps. Note that the brake cover is sized similar to the clutch and the stock radiator cap will fit the Magnacharger tank. The window washer cap needs the small tab in front trimmed off to fit over the top.
FUSE BOX COVER - Please note that the fuse cover has a slight bend to it, please make sure you are satisfied with it and make monor adjustments prior to installation.
BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR COVER - The cover wraps around the entire reservoir and has an edge that drops down around the edges about 1 inch that is machined to match the rest of the parts.
RADIATOR OVERFLOW TANK COVER - See attached pictures below.
AC LINE CAP COVERS - These cap covers come in pairs and are placed over the existing black plastic screw on covers. Please note, the AC caps are a very snug fit but please use an additional adhesive (glue, RTV, etc) to insure attachment. Place some adhesive in the billet cap, then install over the plastic cap and allow adhesive to dry.
REAR LIFT STRUT COVERS - These billet tubes slide over the existing OEM factory struts for the rear hatch and lock into place with a 3/32 set screw. NOTE that you need to remove the struts and one fitting end piece to allow the cover to fit over the tube.
REAR STRUT BRACE COVERS - These are two plates that will fit over the aluminum strut mounts on the lid. A nice part with a lot of detail to hide the ugly bracket. See picture below. Available with and without the hole so that you can cover both sides of the mount.
AIR BOX FRONT STRIP INSERTS - The inserts will fit into the 3 horizontal indentations in the OEM cover. Not only do they fit perfectly into the indentation on the plastic cover they have a very subtle routed edge which really adds to the look.
AIR BOX TOP PLATES - These plates sit on top of the 2 part airbox, one part is a rectangle and the other is rectangular with a large protrusion to fit the contour of the existing plastic design on the top of the air tube.
COLD AIR INTAKE PLATE - This plate sits at the front of the cold air intake (CAI) filter assembly as seen below.
AIR BOX BASE PLATE - This plate sits in the base of the air cleaner area and covers the OEM yellow and blue decals.
HOOD LATCH SURROUND TRIM PLATE - This plate sits in the recessed area in front of the hood latch and is decorated with the ribbed areas to match the rest of my SSR items.
DOOR SILL INSERT - TRIM PLATE - Sill Plate inserts fit where the OEM version sits and covers the indented areas for a nice custom appearance. Available with the truck outline or the SSR text as milled options. These fit in both doors as well as the tailgate area without any modifications! Please visit this thread for photos: Custom SSR Billet Door Sills
INDIVIDUALLY PICTURED BELOW - Interior Air Vent Covers - Set of 4 vent covers, available in brushed or polished finish. Install simply with provided double stick tape or RTV for thinner more permanent application. Compound curves still allow for full vertical movement and 90% of side to side. Nice bevel around entire edge makes for a nice look and compliment to any interior.
INDIVIDUALLY PICTURED BELOW - Hood Latch Plate Cover - Brushed or polished finish, fits snugly around latch loop under hood and attaches with 3M tape.
INDIVIDUALLY PICTURED BELOW - Door Handle Covers - Brushed or polished finish, fits the contours of the existing handle with a little overhang to insure complete coverage. Has 3M tape but can be mounted with many other attachment methods of your choosing.
Orders will normally arrive to you anywhere from 2-4 weeks or so after I receive payment, depending on when your order was placed. May take longer depending on work load at machinist at time or order.

Billet SSR Items...
Mike got to have one of your new Billet Brake Reservoir Covers. I didn't know you had finished that project. Let me know how much to have Kim send !!! She should still have your address from the GREAT LOOKING BILLET FUSE COVER...
In fact, go ahead and put me down for the 3 other pieces you are currently working on. I don't know what the covers fit or "cover" but from the OUTSTANDING WORKMANSHIP on your other billet pieces, I'm placing my order now... as in pre-construction...

ps: cut some hay today and will be working on it again tomorrow after a trip to the Hydraulic Presure Hose Making Store. Always something. Still want to go, still have permission, just don't know yet. Will pm later. David
Alex, you of all people should be able to come up with a "inexpensive BLING fix" for that ...

David:
After seeing the ribbed versions of the fluid cap covers that Mike and you had, I'm almost wishing that I had those instead. But as fate would have it, Mike came out with the ribbed versions after I had already bought mine.
Some of mine cap covers fit on so snug, that I'll bet I could not get them off very easily, even if I wanted to remove them to make the change.

Alex,
Yes, you can order a smooth side version but regretfully there is no change in price. If I were you I would go ahead and get the ribbed brake cover, it adds a little extra "show" vs what I think a smooth one would and it would still look good with the smooth caps. I think you have the ribbed SSR logo fuse cover, it will match nicely. As far as removing the existing caps, I "upgraded" mine after driving around for awhile to heat up the engine, then used a small pry device (screwdriver) around the edges, the 3M tape released without issues for all of them.

The 2 tone alternator I did myself. I polished the front half and painted the back half with black crinkle paint. I like the look and get many compliments on it at car shows.
I might do a few now and then if someone is interested, if you can do without your toy for a few days, pay shipping both ways and can pay me a little for my time, PM me and maybe we can work something out.

Hi Mike,
Yes, I disassembled it for the polishing and yes there are several other parts that are coated with the wrinkle paint. I wanted to "hide" the background areas and make the painted and polished work stand out more.

Purchase Request
Mike,
I have already purchased the cap covers (w/SSR logo) from you and am very happy with the quality.
I want to order the BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR COVER. Please let me know how to pay the $80.
Can you reveal yet the additional parts you are working on? The reason I want to know (in addition to being curious) is so that I don't buy similar items from anyone else.
Finally, when you disassembled the alternator, does the housing split "clean", or are magnets/other parts attached to either half?

Richard Williams (rdwcapt)
Hi Richard,
I will PM you my payment address again for the brake cover. The other items that I want to do are: radiator tank cover, brake booster cover and a plate for the area between the aircleaner and hood latch.
The alternator: I split the case but only took one half off, the side I polished. You can easily take everything apart but I didn't need to with what I did. If you take off the front pulley nut and pulley, then remove the 3 (I think) case screws the front plate half removes easily and leaves everything else there for easily reassembly. Then it's a matter of sandpaper, dremel tools and buffing until your happy.
Mike: I would like to order your Engine fluid caps with an extra radiator cap for the MagnaCharger tank and the Brake fluid reservoir cover. Please let me know how to pay and an anticipated delivery timeframe. Thanks, Larry
Mike, I would like to order all of the billet items you have, please e-mail me how to pay? My e-mail is hwright@topproducersrealestate.com, my cell phone is 817.319.2966.
