15214401 Includes, , front bumper fascia molding, , hood emblem, fog lamp bezels, outside door handles, and the rear ss chrome emblem fopr the tail gate

this pricing for the kit at the present prices form gm dated 8-14-2008 is
422.20 plus freight, we do not know the size of the box. but based on the center grille moulding the box will be a oversize + 1

I am constant contact with the senior GM buyer of SSR parts, especially accessories that he is getting new vendor to make the product. some items like the pedal covers is not coming back. this is the list that I have as of today. will add to my master list once per week. I will keep you informed about the package release date. As of 8-11-2008 they still do not have a vendor to make the chrome outside handles. On the inside parts, the pull handles and the shifter plate are due at any time. As of 9-30-08, the price I quoted is the best estimate of the price that I know as of this date, I talk to the GM rep at least a week, he is keeping informed about the progress of the new contracts is get the last 2 pieces of the exterior package. He expects the outside handle problem to be complete in the next 30 days. I will keep this site informed about the progress of this package and the other accessories that we are working on like the gauges package, bed strips and other items.
date10-9-2008, the left door handles came in today. my guy from GM says that the right door handles are not far behind in october to be released. when he has enough stock on last two items he will release the chrome exterior package, just be a little more paitenced for the kit, yes I am selling the pieces on ebay. there are some people that don't want to wait for the whole package, which is alot cheaper in the long run. my dealer still has 150 of these on order from 10-2007, they will be shipped on the oldest order first

Dated 10.29-2008, I talked to my GM guy today. here is the lastest news

about the outside chrome package. The orginla GM kit came with the following pieces, some of which we did not know about, front hood emblem, long grille moulding, 2 fog lamp bezels, 2 outside door handles, rear ss emblem on the gate, 4 ssr nut caps for the valve stems and a rear backup lamp bezel arounf the license plate. He is not able to get the rea license plate bezel remade in chrome and the rear SS emblem will be pulled from the kit. all the parts are now ready to go, except the valve stem parts. HE has to get with the Marketing dept to change the kit and the pricing to reflect the part being pulled, which should make the kit go down in price. He expects to release the kit in the next 3 weeks, and says that he sees my 200 ordered kits out there in the order bank.

The interior parts that are missing, chrome shift plate in automatic and stick to be released by the 20th of November and the inside pull handles about the 15th of November.
I talked to my GM guy today the 11-06-2008, he is just waiting for more valve stem ssr caps to get in, he has enough back stock on the rest of the items to make the kits. he says there will be an adjustment in the price for the parts that are not going to be in the kit, rear license bezel and the ss emblem on the tailgate.

I spoke with Mike Byers today, and got the whole story. I suggest that anybody that ordered one of these kits speak directly with Mike.

I did not order from this member, nor will I buy the kits I ordered from him.

Me too. Paul has been great to work with and I'd recommend him. Price may not be quite as good as our great parts dept guys, but the guy has to make a living and is investing a ton of his own money to get the parts for us. Pistol

Me three. several purchases from Paul and not a problem. I am of the same mind set that he (Paul) puts up his $ to order our parts he has to be allowed to make a dollar. Keep up the great efforts Paul.

What is the status of this list of exterior chrome parts. I am number 10 on the list from way back in 2007 and have been patiently waiting on a kit. I have passed up many parts that were available since then in anticipation of receiving a complete kit at a reasonable price. If you are "taking over" the list from the original source then I believe you owe the many people that are on the list an explanation of where they stand. When will these parts be available and will they still be at the price quoted when we all signed up for them? Will you provide timely updates to keep us informed as to the status?
