Main Fan

I have been looking for a Mike in AZ main fan to replace my OEM fan. If you have one you are not using I would like to purchase it. I dont mind paying Mike the $300 for his fan, but if I can save a few dollars.... Thanks

Nothing wrong with trying to save a few bucks.....

Mikey stands behind all of his products, better than any vendor I've ever encountered. That said, I would not expect Mikey to stand behind an item he originally sold to another owner, just sayin'.

I would not expect him to do that. Just asking a question.

Yes, I do stand behind my fans.... to a great extent. The warranty is pretty liberal (full replacement for two years) for original purchasers, but changes if the SSR changes hands or the fan is sold from one Fanatic to another. At that time, we begin a "reduced cost" exchange period for an undefined (no, not forever)amount of time.

What I have started doing is to offer a refurbished exchange for fans that fail. The refurbishment includes (as a minimum) cleaning up the fan & shroud, refreshing wiring as needed, replacing the motor and replacing the rubber seal around the shroud. Refurbished units are currently $200 exchange. I have been building a pool of cores this summer and am working on twisting Flex-a-Lite's arm to give me a good deal on the motors and seals needed to maintain the refurbished pool. As the price of my replacement parts goes down, the price of a refurbished unit will follow.

Bottom line......... if you buy a fan from one of the Fanatics here, I've got your back. Period.

Regards,

Mike

Sounds like Bej could use a little "basic forum assistance," OP.

Kinda late for a call tonight but I will try to call tomorrow to see if I'm able to walk him through creating a new thread.
