Mpd front spoiler

Here is some pics of the prototype plug for our front spoiler. I painted the area black that will be cut out on the production part to make it easier to picture. From here we will put a flange around the part and then gelcoat and polish it. the first two pictures are of where I started on building the plug.

X - Mas presents

I better start thinking about being real good till the end of the year. New hood and 2 chin spoilers would look real good on my trucks.

Now, how do I go about getting a 3 month supply of be-good pills ??????????

GREAT WORK ERIC. LOOKING FOWARD TO SEEING THE FINAL.

Will this fit all years???

Plug........

Eric,

Well it looks like the plug is comming right along...... looking good........How soon before the mold is finished.........I'm still wondering how your going to produce this part in a "Hand Layup" for $200.00?..........It's a good deal if you can do it........Good luck,Wolfie

What we are looking at doing is a thermovacuum forming process out of ABS plastic. This will keep production costs low. If I am not satisfied with the way that turns out we will hand lay them. Either way the first 20 that committed to this will get theirs for the 200.00. I would like to see everyone get them for that price however since we are not in production I cannot pinpoint a final price. I am also planning on doing a shroud for the lower core support to support the lower lip of the spoiler and duct the air to the radiator. This may add some to the price but will be well worth it in terms of making the spoiler rigid and aiding the cooling system.

Finally

Thank you Eric, someone has decided to make a chin spoiler out of a material that will withstand a little abuse! ABS plastic should do just that!!! I will difinitely take one if you can do it in ABS.....The photos look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the Hard work you're putting in on this......Stretch

ERIC,
Put me on your top 20 list ! ! ! !
I also think the ABS is the way to go as it's a little forgiving. Now for the SSR-71 rear spioler.

ABS sounds great to me - fiberglass is not very forgiving.
