Kooks makes headers for the SSR, as well as DynoMax, Stainless Works, etc.

Contact Mike in AZ for a great deal on Kooks headers and his True Dual Exhaust.

I don't want long tube headers. I want shortie headers and no one seems to be making them. I have checked with Kooks and almost everyone else. If anyone runs across shortie headers for the SSR please let me know or post a message.

I don't see the Kooks or the radiator itself on his website any longer. What happened, what I miss?

Hi,

There was a cover for sale posted to forum a little earlier than orig. message. It was
even yelleewwww. Hahaha. Might still be there and not even have to get it painted.
Yeah, right.

Had about the same thing happen, but somewhat worse. Backed into a barbed wire
fence. Took out Rt. taillight, pushed in area all around it, cover too and buckled qtr.
over tire. Has bit of a V to panel now. Made me absolutely sick. I wonder if ins. will
pay for a new qtr. panel, bumper cover? I hate the thought of any bondo on my R.

Gladly taking any donations, parts. Anyone? Hahaha!

You don't want a new qt panel installed. It's the whole side of the bed with multiple spot welds, the entire top has to come out, etc.. scary thought aligning it all back up, door jamb to tailgate. Bumper cover is around $800 thru GM, try one of parts guys for a better price.

Go with some Lonnie (tail) lights www.x-rodz.com

I don't much like the Lonnie Rocket lights. Would look killer if they were flush
and molded into body though. The way they're installed looks like an add on.
Sorry, just my opinion. Looked at site and the outer area seemed wider on
some than others. I liked the thinner ones better. Or might just seem dif. on
dark colors. To much for me anyway.

I have a rear bumper cover for 2006 SSR. It was slightly damaged when I was hit in rear. Trailer hitch took impact. His insurance paid for new cover. I had slight dinks fixed and entire bumper primed. Am asking $400 plus shipping. New from dealer is $800. PM me or call 985-785-0334 or 985-785-0276.

Thanks Tony, but I was in a big hurry and bought a remanufactured part. It would have been great to buy one for less especially if it was already painted. oh well!

No, The housing itself. Looks like it sticks out to far past body panel. Would def. be
better if bucket was flush and molded in. Like a true frenched light. But then it can't
be removed to switch back to orig. light later on. Are they molded in on Sinister? Any
pics? Sinister is way cool looking. I def. want to see when finished.

The housing itself is known as Lonnie's Frenched Taillight Buckets or Rocket and then you can pick a number of tail lens to use with it. Here the thread with pictures and stories of others who have brought them.
